How to Import Google Contacts

To add more contacts to your SOI, you can easily import your Google contacts into crmgrow by following these steps.

*Note: This import occurs only once. You may choose to repeat this action whenever necessary.

Google Contacts must have all four fields of information on a Contact to import;

• First Name

• Last Name

• Email

• Phone

*Note: The physical field information (first name, last name, etc.) does not need to be present; similar to a CSV file import, the four specific fields where the information would land in your Google Contacts are what is required for the import.

Step 1

Click on "Contacts" on the system's left side.

Step 2

Click "Import" at the top right.

Step 3

Click "Google Contacts."

Step 4

Click to choose the Google email associated with the Contacts you want to import.

Step 5

*Note: You may be asked to sign into your Google account. If you were not directed to do so, skip to Step 6.

Click "Continue."

Step 6

Note: The page will refresh and show the message: "crmgrow wants to access your Google Account."

Click "Allow."

Note: You will be directed to the Contacts Import page. Depending on the scope of the Contacts you are importing, it may take a beat or two to manifest.

Step 7

Carefully compare the Column information versus the information within the column to be sure the fields match up: i.e., First Name to First Name, Email, Phone.

*Note: You must slide the horizontal bar across to the right to see the entirety of the Columns to review.

Step 8

When you are done reviewing the data, click the blue "Save & Continue" button at the top right of the page.

*Note: The page will update with "Your contacts are ready to import" at the top left.

Step 9

If your Contacts have multiple email addresses or phone numbers, move the horizontal bar to the right to assign "Phone 1," "Phone 2," "Email 1," "Email 2," and so forth.

Step 10

Click the blue "Upload" button at the top right of the screen.

Step 11

Click "back to crmgrow" on the white pop-up that appears. This will redirect you to the Contacts page, where you will find your freshly imported Google contacts.
